Jim mcloughlin
Coach/Trainer
Jim McLoughlin has been associated with soccer all his life.
Jim grew up in Liverpool, England until he moved to
Brampton, Ontario, Canada in 1966. He was a member of
the Ontario Provincial team from 1973 until 1977
including the National Championship team of 1975. In
1976, Jim won the Ontario Achievement Award for
contribution to sports. Jim was also a member of the
Canadian National team from 1976 until 1979 and played
in the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
Jim played professionally
in the NSL (Canada), NASL and MISL.
In 1979 and 1980, Jim’s New York Arrows won the MISL
championship. His playing career was cut short due to
numerous knee injuries.
Jim has a USSF “A” license and has coached the Langhorne
Strikers since 1998, guiding them to four state
championships and many other tournament titles, both
indoors and outdoors.
In 1995, Jim was elected to the City of Brampton Sports
Hall of Fame. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Exercise Physiology.

Natalie is a member of the '86/'87 Strikers who won 6 PA
State Titles (1999-2004) and were twice Regional
Finalists (2003, 2004).Capuano, currently a Junior
Captain for the University of Pennsylvania is a
NSCAA third-team All-Mid Atlantic ... First-team All-Ivy
... SoccerBuzz.com third-team All-Mid Atlantic ... One
of just two players to start all 16 matches in 2006.

Coach
Shawn Mecchi recently served as an assistant coach at
Illinois State in 2007. Mecchi spent 2006 as an
assistant at Indianapolis, where he conducted all
goalkeeper training and game preparation for the men's
and women's teams, while assisting the head coaches with
recruiting, match preparation and analysis.
Prior to Indianapolis, Mecchi worked at his alma mater,
The College of New Jersey in Ewing, N.J., serving as an
assistant coach on the women's soccer team during the
2005 season. Mecchi helped guide the Lions to a 22-1
record, the NJAC regular season and tournament titles,
and the NCAA Division III national finals.
With a long history around the game of soccer, Mecchi
has served as the head coach for the Dynamo FC `91 girls
team in Indianapolis and the goalkeeping director for
the Dynamo club since August 2006. Mecchi continues to
work as a camp director and staff coach with the
SoccerPlus Camps out of Farmington, Conn. he has been
involved with the organization since 2002 and he
instructs college-bound and top-level high school
goalkeepers in technical and tactical aspects of the
position.
Mecchi was a four-year starting goalkeeper at the
College of New Jersey. As a freshman, he posted a 1.18
goals against average and a .867 save percentage,
earning all-conference accolades. He played 47 games in
his career, starting 42 of them and recording 21 wins.
He notched 204 saves and had a 1.39 goals against
average. The Pittsgrove, N.J., native earned his
bachelor's degree in journalism from the College of New
Jersey in 2006.
